Joel Marx talked about the impact of health care reform on home care and home medical equipment, and he responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. President Obama has said that home-based care is not only a cost saving to Medicare, but also for elders and their families. Mr. Marx, who is also the president and chief executive officer of Medical Service Company in Cleveland, also discussed how health care reform affects his business and clients, and recent claims about the industry.
