Ranjit Arab and Michael Briggs, from the University Press of Kansas, talked about the latest book in their American Presidential Elections series, Realigning America: McKinley, Bryan, and the Remarkable Election of 1896 (2010) by R. Hal Williams, and about their legal series, Landmark Law Cases and American Society. Other books discussed included Guantanamo, USA: The Untold History of America’s Cuban Outpost (2009) by Stephen Irving Max Schwab and 1927 and the Rise of Modern America (2010) by Charles J. Shindo.

They were interviewed at the 102nd annual meeting of the Organization of American Historians, held Wednesday, April 7 to Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Hilton Washington. They talked about their activities at the meeting. close
