RNC Chairman James Nicholson and Michigan Gov. John Engler talked about the Republican agenda and the campaign fundraising hearings on Capitol Hill. Gov. Engler suggested that the leadership of the House and Senate need to frame a national agenda for the next sixteen months and get it implemented and send bills to the White House. Chairman Nicholson talked about his concern about the serious questions raised in the campaign finance hearings. He said the hearings are “about nothing less than the nation’s security.” close
