Sec. Blinken Describes Gruesome Images & Gives U.S. Stance on Cease-Fire

Sec. Blinken described images of a family of four at a dinner table who were attacked by Hamas. He described the image in detail saying, "the father's eye gouged out in front of his kids, the mother's breast cut off, the girl's foot amputated, the boy's fingers cut off before they were executed, and then their executioners sat down and had a meal. That is what this society is dealing with." He continued to share that Israel has the right to protect itself, however, it's important how Israel does it. In addition, he commented on the Biden administration's stance on a cease-fire, stating that it would only help Hamas, but humanitarian pauses should be considered. close
