Former President Clinton gave a keynote speech at the centennial meeting of the National Governors Association. In his remarks he talked about the NGA efforts over the past several years in the areas of innovation, public policy making, and leadership. He also talked about future challenges such as uses of technology, market initiatives, education, health care, and security.
Following the keynote speech, current and former governors participated in a moderated discussions on state competitiveness and social welfare.
