Donald Trump, the 2016 presumptive Republican presidential nominee, spoke about 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. He outlined what he would do during his first 100 days in office if he wins the presidency. He also said in his comments that former Secretary of State Clinton may be the most corrupt person to ever seek the presidency.

Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen presented her semiannual report on monetary policy to the House Financial Services Committee. 

Telephone lines were open for viewer responses to the question, “What is your confidence in the economy?” The question came from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen’s previous-day testimony before the Senate Banking Committee that because of uneven growth the central bank will move slowly in raising interest rates.
