The House Is Not In Session
House Session - May 1, 2019

The House worked on a bill requiring the president to keep the U.S. in the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change. President Donald Trump had said he would pull the U.S. out of the agreement in 2020. The bill blocks this action and requires the president to come up with a plan to implement the lower greenhouse gas emission levels the U.S. agreed to under the Obama administration.
