The U.S. Senate met and continued debate on the Fair Credit Reporting Bill. The bill offered a number of reforms including offering consumers free personal credit reports every two years and would require organizations to correct past erroneous information they may have reported to credit bureaus. The Senate then stood in recess subject to the call of the chair.
