The U.S. Senate began the second week and eighth day of health care legislation. They began by considering amendments from Senators Gregg and Pryor. Senator Gregg’s bars the use of any Medicare rate increases from anything other than Medicare. Senator Pryor’s requires Health and Human Services to survey those taking part in the health insurance exchange creating the bill.
