Senate Session - March 19, 2020

The Senate worked on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The bill includes cash payments to every U.S. adult and child. The remainder would be part of a loan program to keep small businesses afloat and loan guarantees for industries of national importance that are in crisis due to the virus, such as airlines, and funds for hospitals and medical centers.
