The House voted 421-0 for a resolution calling for the release of the whistleblower complaint involving President Trump's summer of 2019 conversation with the leader of Ukraine, which included talk about former Vice President Joe Biden and his son. The resolution calls on the acting Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Justice, and the White House to preserve all documents and communication related to the whistleblower's allegations. Members also passed a bill that would establish an independent representative within the Department of Homeland Security to investigate and resolve complaints about U.S. border and immigration agencies and personnel. They also passed a suspension bill H.R. 1595, the Secure And Fair Enforcement Banking Act of 2019, to create "safe banking" protections to allow cannabis sales to use the federal banking system.
