Consumer attitudes about health care were analyzed in a survey commissioned by Democratic and Republican pollsters for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Corporation. The participants discussed what is driving health costs, such as increased aging population resulting in lower income for doctors because more people are on Medic are. Medical malpractice insurance costs are another fast-rising cost. Also mentioned was preventive medicine and the education of the public about self health care.
