Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA), chairman of the Senate Labor Committee, spoke to an audience attending a union legislative conference in Washington on current issues being considered in Congress. He spoke on the economic reforms being advocated by the Clinton administration, as well as other issues including health care reform. Sen. Kennedy gave his remarks in front of an audience of members of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) during their annual meeting in Washington D.C. President of the SEIU John Sweeny provided the introduction. close
