The Republican vice presidential nominee, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, and his daughter Charlotte toured Gettysburg National Military Park with ranger John Hoptak. Governor Pence visited locations on the battlefield where men from several Indiana regiments fought and 550 died, including sites where the 19th, 7th, and the 27th Indiana Infantry Regiments fought. He laid a wreath at the Indiana monument and stopped in the cemetery where President Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. close
