Natan Sharansky, a leading figure of the Soviet dissident movement of the 1970s and later an Israeli politician, spoke about his life and career with PublicAffairs Founder Peter Osnos. Mr. Sharansky talked about the nine years he spent in the Soviet Gulag for alleged crimes of treason, his reunion with his wife in Israel, and subsequent political career in the Knesset.
