UCLA Professor Mark Kleiman, the author of "Against Excess: Drug Policy for Results", and Harvard Medical School Professor Lester Grinspoon, the author of "Marijuana: The Forbidden Medicine", discussed alternatives to the current, totally criminal drug policy in the United States. The former focused on the principles of reducing the overall suffering associated with drug use and the latter focused on the medicinal values of marijuana and the policy changes which flow from them. After their individual presentations, they took questions from the audience. close
