James Elroy Risch is an American politician serving as the junior United States Senator from Idaho since 2009. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as Lieutenant Governor of Idaho from 2003 to 2006 and again from 2007 to 2009 and as Governor of Idaho from 2006 until 2007. Wikipedia*
