White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart talked to reporters about the military action in Yugoslavia and humanitarian aid to the Kosovar refugees. He stated that the Clinton administration’s position that ground troops will not be sent into Yugoslavia has not changed. He also said that NATO will systematically pursue destroying President Milosevic’s military special forces until President Milosevic allows the Kosovar Albanians to live in Kosovo peacefully. He responded to questions from reporters. close
