Author Richard Butler, former chairman of the United Nations Special Commission charged with monitoring Iraq’s weapons program, talked about his book The Greatest Threat: Iraq, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and the Crisis of Global Security, published by Public Affairs. The book details what the author terms as the failure of the United Nations to achieve its goal of ensuring that Iraq not develop and maintain weapons of mass destruction.
