The Center of Public Integrity held a news conference to release their report on how members of Congress spend their excess campaign funds. The report, entitled “Saving for a Rainy Day: How Members of Congress Turn Leftover Campaign Funds into Golden Parachutes,” found that 165 members of the House collectively have $41 million in unused campaign funds from past elections.
