Americans for Victory over Terrorism (AVOT) held a “Teach-In on War on Terrorism” at UCLA. William Bennett, former Secretary of Education and chairman of AVOT, James Woolsey, former CIA Director and an AVOT senior adviser, and Paul Bremer, also an AVOT senior adviser and former Ambassador-at-Large for Counter Terrorism, took questions and debated students at UCLA in Los Angeles. AVOT’s stated mission was to go where anti-war sentiment is strong and make the case for why America must confront terrorism. close
