Sen. Mitchell, Senate majority leader, addressed members of the New Hampshire Democratic party at their annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner in Manchester, New Hampshire. Sen. Mitchell encouraged New Hampshire Democrats to continue working hard for the party with statistics proving the Democratic party is alive and well in the U.S. He recited the Democrats national agenda, and stated the Democrats refusal to reduce the civil rights of women under the law. If Americans are given a chance, he said, the country will continue to move ahead, and it is the Democratic party that stands for giving all Americans an equal chance. close
