Future of the Political Pundit

Panelists talked the future of political analysts, or “pundits,” in an increasingly competitive news and entertainment market. Among the topics they addressed were the place of media commentary within television journalism, the impact of television news discussions on the quality of public and political discourse, and the degree to which political debate had been reduced to entertainment. They also responded to questions from the audience.
