Military family members and those who support them attended to show the nation and the world that they stand firm in their resolve to win the efforts to combat terrorism. Speakers included Congressmen, gold star family members of service men and women, veterans, media personalities, and Iraqi citizens. (Mr. Golding was a survivor of the September 11 terrorist attacks.)
