Mr. McClellan spoke to reporters about the nomination of Harriet Miers to the United States Supreme Court. He also announced that President Bush would speak on the efforts to combat terrorism, which was planned for October 6. The President planned on talking about the strategy and vision of the terrorists as well as the nation’s strategy for defeating the enemy.
