Hugh Hewitt talked about his book Painting the Map Red: The Fight to Create a Permanent Republican Majority, published by Regnery Publishing. Mr. Hewitt argues that Democrats could win back both the House and Senate during the 2006 midterm elections and suggests ways for Republicans to limit this possibility. He says that for Republicans to regain the momentum they have lost recently, they should concentrate on four things: winning the war, confirming their judicial nominees, cutting taxes, and controlling spending.
