Panelists at a session of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute 2006 Public Policy Conference titled “State of Hispanic America,” talked about changing demographics and the growing influence of Hispanic groups in America. The also talked about the potential impact of the Latino vote in the 2006 midterm elections, sources of Hispanic population growth in the U.S., the growth of the Hispanic middle class, and other issues.
