War on the Middle Class

Lou Dobbs talked about his book War on the Middle Class: How the Government, Big Business, and Special Interest Groups Are Waging War on the American Dream and How to Fight Back, published by Viking. Mr. Dobbs argued that both the Clinton and the current Bush administrations are responsible for eliminating millions of manufacturing jobs in America. He explained that due to younger generations being less educated than their parents, rapid growth in illegal immigration, and a corrupt health care system, the gap between the rich and poor in the United States is larger than ever. After his presentation he responded to audience members' questions. close
