Ms. David talked about ways in which terrorists such as members of al-Qaida use the Internet to train for and plot new attacks. Topics included Homeland Security Department intelligence culling, counterterrorism research, methods of encrypting files, and online radio stations with lessons on conducting urban warfare. She also showed video clips from some of the Internet sites. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.
