Timothy Naftali profiled the presidency of George H.W. Bush in the monthly Bradley Lecture at the American Enterprise Institute, titled “The Reluctant Realism of George H. W. Bush.” Mr. Naftali contends that the 41st president had to make difficult economic decisions following the fiscal exuberance of the Reagan administration. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
