Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Iraq’s Minister of Defense Abd al-Qadir al-Mufrij spoke to the press. They talked about the private meeting that they had just concluded. Gates said that the number of attacks from insurgents in Iraq against US and Iraqi governmental forces has decreased. He also talked about the relations with Iran and emphasized the Strait of Hormuz incident.
