The Astronauts Memorial Foundation held a ceremony to honor the crew of Space Shuttle Columbia STS-107, and all astronauts who have sacrificed their lives for the nation and the space program, on the 5th anniversary of the Columbia accident. The ceremony began with music, a flag ceremony, and an invocation. At the conclusion of the ceremony Evelyn Husband-Thompson, Michael Griffin and William Gerstenmaier laid a wreath at the base of the Space Mirror Memorial. Stephen Feldman led the service.

The ceremony was held at the Space Mirror Memorial at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
