The committee focused on how relations between the United States and Indo-China nations have changed in recent years. The sole witness was Assistant Secretary of State Richard Soloman. Mr. Soloman recently returned from a trip to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and several other nations in Indo-China. He spoke about his trip, U.S. interest in Indo-China, and America’s progress in establishing closer relations with that area of the world. close
