Friends and associates of the late Robert F. Kennedy gathered at the Center for Politics, Ethics, and Public Policy at Loyola Marymount University to remember and pursue the political ideals for which Kennedy stood. Historian and professor Arthur Schlesinger moderated the panel which spoke on the Kennedy political legacy, an era he defines as “so near us chronologically yet so distant to us emotionally and psychologically.” Topics covered included Robert F. Kennedy’s foreign policy, U.S.-U.S.S.R. relations, social injustice and civil rights, and personal anecdotes. close
