Donna Foote talked with Paul Cummins about Relentless Pursuit: In the Trenches with Teach for America, her book about the creation and impact of Teach for America, a national teaching corp started by Wendy Kopp and Marvin Bressler in 1990. For the book, Ms. Foote followed Teach for America members during the 2005-06 school year at Locke High School in Los Angeles. Ms. Foote responded to audience members' questions following her remarks.
