James Risen talked about prosecutions of reporters and others involved in the leak and publishing of national security information. He had refused to testify before two grand juries investigating leaks that revealed secret warrantless eavesdropping by the National Security Agency on American citizens. Former Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice could testify at a criminal trial later in the month of an ex-Central Intelligence Agency officer accused of leaking highly classified information to Mr. Risen. He also responded to questions from the audience. close
