Jimmy Carter spoke by telephone about the Camp David Accords which were reached 35 years previously at a meeting he hosted at Camp David. The Camp David Accords were signed by Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin on September 17, 1978, and led to the 1979 Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty.
