William Adams, the newly appointed chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), spoke at a National Press Club luncheon. He announced the NEH’s “Common Good: The Humanities in the Public Square” initiative as part of the organization’s 50th anniversary celebration in 2015.
