The National Press Foundation held its 32nd annual gala awards dinner. Gabriel Snyder, editor-in-chief of The New Republic, and Alberto IbargÃ¼en, president of the Knight Foundation, spoke about their visions for journalism. The St. Louis Post- Dispatch was honored for its coverage of the Ferguson, Missouri police shooting and subsequent protests. Other honorees included George Stephanopoulus of ABC News and Drew Griffin of CNN. close
