Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) spoke about the future of the trade adjustment assistance (TAA) and trade promotion authority (TPA) legislation and the Senate agenda for the upcoming week. He said the chamber would split the TAA and TPA bills and consider them separately. He called on members to come together to pass the bills so they could be sent to the president’s desk. close
