President Obama held a town hall with soldiers at Fort Meade in Maryland on the 14th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. He talked about his memories of September 11th, and the ongoing efforts to prevent similar attacks. He also discussed several national security issues around the globe, including the situations in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and North Africa, as well as the growing number of cyber attacks from both state and non-state actors. He was asked a few questions that prompted him to reflect on his presidency, and said that his most rewarding experiences came when people tell him that he has helped them directly.
