Following his remarks, former intelligence officers talked about the importance of the briefing.
As part of this program, 2,500 previously classified President’s Daily Brief (PDB) articles produced by the CIA were released. These documents cover the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.
The Central Intelligence Agency, Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library, and the University of Texas at Austin co-hosted this event as part of a symposium titled “The President’s Daily Brief: Delivering Intelligence to the First Customer.”
