Director of the Clinton Transition Team, Warren Christopher, spoke in a news conference to announce new ethical guidelines for members of the Clinton administration. The new guidelines will be included in pledges each appointment to an administrative post will have to repeat prior to taking office. The guidelines were intended to reduce the sale of influence and access for lobbying purposes by current or former administration personnel. close
