Margaret McSurely Herring delivered a lecture in the Joe Rauh Memorial lecture series on her experiences in pursuing a court case involving the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, which states that the right of search and seizure shall be regulated. She discussed her 17-year battle to retrieve personal documents that were removed from her home by federal agents in 1967.
