Donald Trump, a candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, held a campaign rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. He talked about the agreement announced that day between Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Governor John Kasich (R-OH) to not actively compete in three states in order to prevent Donald Trump from securing the 2016 Republican nomination for president before the convention. He argued that the system was corrupt. After his remarks Mr. Trump mingled with the crowd. close
