Representative John Lewis (R-GA) delivered the keynote remarks at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s annual fundraising dinner as he was presented the 2016 Elie Wiesel Award for his moral and physical courage as a civil rights leader. Representative Lewis was introduced by tributes and a video. The museum’s National Tribute Dinner, held at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, was part of the museum’s Days of Remembrance, an annual commemoration which honors victims of the Holocaust. close
