Nine experts on the North Atlantic Treaty Organization military alliance talked about the results of the most recent conference of leaders of the alliance’s member states, held in July 2016. The discussion focused on challenges facing NATO over the upcoming year, particularly Russia’s military aggression in Georgia, Ukraine, and Syria, and ways the alliance could better face them. The panelists also talked about the 2016 U.S. election, and ways the next president could best handle relations with NATO. close
