Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair Bob Corker (R-TN) spoke at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast on the future of foreign policy under the administration of President-elect Donald Trump. Senator Corker was pressed particularly on the upcoming confirmation hearings his committee would be holding on Rex Tillerson, the Exxon Mobil executive picked by Mr. Trump to serve as secretary of state, and questions over Mr. Tillerson’s financial investments. Senator Corker also talked about Republican plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act, saying he wanted changes to the law to be done in a fiscally responsible manner, which could mean altering the law instead of repealing it. close
