Sean Spicer spoke to reporters at the daily White House briefing. He commented on the House Intelligence Committee investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election and defended the conduct of the Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA), who chairs the panel. Mr. Spicer also discussed the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch and the potential for negotiations with Democrats to pass an Affordable Care Act replacement bill.

Due to audio difficulties, the briefing was joined in progress as the press secretary talked about the president’s initiative to combat the opioid epidemic. close
