Vice President Pence met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo. After greeting the prime minister and talking about the importance of the Japanese-U.S. relationship, Vice President Pence was asked about ongoing military tensions on the Korean peninsula. He said that “the era of strategic patience is over” and that “all options are on the table” following North Korea’s failed missile test the previous weekend. close
